Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread

Sunday Baking is one of my favorite things to do. Last week it was Pumpkin Spice Bagels, and this week was a really easy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread. This recipe is one of my all time favorite fall recipes for a few reasons.

1- so incredibly easy to make, you could make it with your kids.

2- you only need one bowl. I’m here for all the easy recipes.

Lastly 3- it makes the house smell incredible for minimal effort.

I love to add ginger to my pumpkin recipes. It compliments the spices and pumpkin so well. It really brings the flavors to life.

Ohh and slather some light butter on there!! THE BEST!

All you need is:

Ingredients to make Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread:

1/2 cup melted butter

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 cup pumpkin puree

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

1/4 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

2 cups flour

1 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp ground ginger

1 1/2 cups of your favorite kind of chocolate chips.

How to make Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl or stand mixer add the butter, brown sugar, pumpkin puree, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until combined, then add the dry ingredients. Mix again until everything is combined, then fold in the chocolate chips. Spray a 9×5 bread pan with cooking spray, add the batter then cook for 40-45 minutes. Definitely check around 40 minutes (you don’t want to over cook it).

That’s it. This is a super simple recipe. I hope you try it and if you do, let me know how you like it.
