Chicken Cordon Bleu-
I made this version of Chicken Cordon Blu, because I don’t want to roll the raw chicken up! Ya feel?? Regardless it taste incredible!
5-6 chicken breast
3 eggs or 1/2 cup egg whites
2 cups Italian bread crumbs
1 tsp pepper
1 tbsp crushed garlic
10-12 slices ham
6 slices havarti cheese
You can use Swiss cheese, but I really enjoy the flavor the havarti gives.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray.
You will need 2 square/rectangle containers.
1- to put the eggs, seasonings, and garlic into.
2- to put the 2 cups of breadcrumbs into.
Trim fat off the chicken, then cut each chicken breast in half (length wise). Dip each slice of chicken in the eggs, then cover each side with breadcrumbs. Place on the lined cookie sheet. Once all chicken slices are coated with breadcrumbs, top with 2 slices of ham and half a slice of havarti cheese.
Bake @425 for 25-27 mins.
