BBQ Turkey Tenderloin

Sometimes you need to mix it up, and that’s what this week has been about. Don’t get me wrong I love chicken, and it is our staple protein (always and forever). But you need to mix things up! A versatile tile is the best diet. Getting as many micronutrients & macronutrients as possible is best for our bodies. So I made some easy, minimal bbq turkey tenderloin. Turkey tenderloin is still a really lean meat, but it does require a good amount on the grill. For my grill at a medium high heat, it took about an hour to grill 20-25 minutes per side. Although it takes time, its definitely worth it. The marinade is very simple to make. All you need is, garlic, bbq sauce, salt, pepper, onion powder, and milk.

THE RECIPE

BBQ Turkey Tenderloin

Serves 5-6 Ingredients: 24oz Jennie-O turkey tenderloin 3 cloves of garlic 1/2 stubbs bbq sauce 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper 1/4 tsp onion powder 2 tbsp milk How to Make BBQ Turkey Tenderloin: In a large bowl, add the turkey with the remaining ingredients. Refrigerate for 20 minutes or overnight. Heat the grill to a medium-high heat. Add the turkey directly to the grill, cover with the lid and let it cook for 22-25 minutes. Flip and cook for another 22-25 minutes. Stick a thermometer into the thickest part to make sure its at 165 F. Remove from the grill, and let it rest for 10 minutes. Slice and enjoy.
